System Information report written at: 04/19/18 23:22:39 Unplugged my other non-gaming monitors just to be left with one Disabled all non-essential processes (Like Game DVR, game bar, game mode, software update services, and disabled everything that isn't windows in System Config) Reenabled that when it didn't fix my issue and made my ping go into the 1000 range Disabled IPv6 (as recommended by Blizz support) Used DDU to uninstall all display drivers When the frames tank, the usage dies down into the teens and the temperature drops to around 50C. When I am getting 300 FPS my usage is at around 50% and my temperature is at 65-70C. The really strange part of this is that when monitoring GPU usage and temperature when the FPS tanks both of these values tank too. As soon as a hero model loads in, my FPS tanks and my SIM increases. Now the only time I can get 300 FPS is when nothing is loaded in on maps. I have spent the equivalent of several days trying to troubleshoot this.īefore the latest windows update KB4093112 (OS Build 16299.371) and the Overwatch Retribution patch, my game would easily run at 300 FPS with a simulation rate of 4 in all situations (SIM or SIM rate is a measurement of input latency for the game). I have had Microsoft support completely update my PC and all of its drivers. The majority of us know what we're doing.I have spent hours with Blizzard support on this with the same stupid responses. This thread was made for others with the same issue, so that we can actually get feedback and support the project. You think I don't know that? I signed up for the testing TO ACTUALLY TEST. Not meaning to sound harsh but anyone with somewhat semi mediocre PC skills keeps all drivers up to date at all times :) just because an outdated driver was working on yiour older system doesnt mean it was going to work now This was all made very clear before signing up if you are not comfortable trouble shooting and running into some serious issue then this preview wasnt for you. A few of us are currently investigating other methods.Īll standard *UP TO DATE* drivers for vista/7/8/8.1 will work fine for 10TP but they should of all been updated prior to trying to install the preview Tried 5 versions back and worked my way forward, still to no avail. Yeah, try going to realtek's website, download, and install the drivers manually.Īlready done, nothing whatsoever. I can still connect with the Realtek WLAN drivers though. Tried moving the drivers over from 8.1 on the my primary PC to here, nothing at all. Yep! Had the latest one on that system for Windows 8.1 installed too. Was there a Windows 7 or Windows 8 driver available for the adapter at the Realtek site?
